Phillip qualified from Bristol University in 2003,having gained his BDS degree and a special commendation for his endodontic ( Root canal treatment) final exam. He joined the practice back in August 2004, after a year in a practice in Bishop Auckland, and he is thoroughly enjoying his time here. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, but finds crown and bridge work the most satisfying. He enjoys attending courses designed to keep his knowledge up to date, and feels its very important to continue to learn throughout a dental professionals career. He currently lives near Consett in Co. Durham, and despite the harsh winter weather, enjoys living out in the country. He enjoys running, cycling, and going to the gym, socialising and cinema with friends.

Dr Lauren qualified from Queen's University Belfast in 2018. She loves to get to know her patients and put them at ease during treatment. Lauren has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry including composite bonding and composite veneers. She is a regular attender to restorative dentistry courses, keeping up to date with modern techniques and has added facial aesthetics to portfolio of treatments available.

Dr Lauren is completing the Post Graduate Level 7 Diploma in Medical Aesthetics. This allows her to provide facial rejuvenation to the highest standard through antiwrinkle treatment, hyaluronic acid fillers and medical grade skincare, using safe techniques and premium products only. Lauren loves the diversity of providing dental care alongside aesthetics and how they are so closely linked.

Outside of work, Lauren likes to explore our lovely coast and countryside, socialise with friends, and take regular trips to visit her family in Ireland.

After graduating from Liverpool University in 2018, Matt moved to the North East to undertake a 2-year long post-graduate programme known as General Professional Training.

In this programme he worked in a busy dental practice in Newcastle and also in Newcastle Dental Hospital. This varied programme gave Matt the opportunity to work with specialists in the fields of Paediatrics, Oral Surgery, Restorative Dentistry, and Oral Medicine.

Away from dentistry Matt is a keen football player and plays both competitively and casually. Matt also enjoys socialising and meeting up with friends, either here in the North East or in his native West Yorkshire. Matt has a keen interest in languages and has been teaching himself Spanish & Portuguese for a number of years (with varying degrees of success!).

Scott qualified from Edinburgh Dental School in 1987and has since gained entry as a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and has completed a Masters Degree in Restorative Dentistry. Having passed his qualification in dental implantology from Cambridge several years ago Scott is able to use dental implants in a wide range of challenging situations.
